In January, 2009, Bay Island Bonsai will host its 10th annual show, An Exhibit of Fine Bonsai™. Dates and times for the exhibit are:

Bay Island Bonsai is proud to present An Exhibit of Fine Bonsai on January 17th and 18th, 2009.This will be the largest exhibit of bonsai trees in the history of the club. Over 75 formal displays of high quality bonsai trees and accent plants.
The exhibit opens daily at 10 am and runs until 4 pm with a $5 admission fee for all events.
Saturday will feature a two-hour auction of very high quality Japanese Maples, Western Junipers, California Junipers, Japanese Black Pines, Japanese White Pines to name a few.
Sunday’s lineup will start with a three hour silent auction of high quality bonsai trees and Japanese and Chinese bonsai pots. Followed by Boon’s demonstration from 1 pm to 3 pm where he will style a very old Western Juniper specially selected for our 10th anniversary event.
The demonstration tree will be auctioned at the conclusion of Boon’s demo.

The vendor area will be open from 10 am—4pm both days.
